The Nye County Planning Department and Floodplain Administration, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of Nye County’s intent to revise the flood hazard information within the Burson Ranch subdivision, located in Pahrump, NV generally situated between South Malibou Avenue and South Squaw Valley Road and between East Mickey Street and Thousandaire Boulevard. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised generally along Summit Avenue from Squaw Valley Rd. upstream to South Malibou Ave.
As a result of the revision, the flooding depths and inundation extents of the 1% chance event will increase and decrease.
