Overview
The program has a Board of Trustees which consists of two members from each Senior Center and one member and an alternate from Esmeralda County. Each senior center has a Project Council which functions as the fundraising leg of the program.
Meetings
The Board of Trustees meet at least once per year but does not have a set meeting schedule.
The Project Councils meet at each center monthly.
- Amargosa and Beatty - Third Monday of each month
- Tonopah - Third Wednesday of each month
Responsibilities
The NCSNP Board of Trustees oversees the operation of the Nye County Senior Nutrition and Transportation programs. The Project Councils at each site raise funds to support their nutrition programs and some transportation. They fund activities outside of the nutrition program.
