Meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every other month at 10 am, starting in February. 

Agendas and Minutes Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Approved meeting minutes are available approximately 30 days after the meeting date. You may obtain a draft copy through the Water District Governing Board.

Overview

Established in 2007 by the Nevada Legislature under NRS Chapter 542, the Nye County Water District (NCWD) is committed to:

  • Developing a long-term sustainability plan for county water resources
  • Evaluating and mitigating environmental impacts
  • Defining groundwater and surface water conditions
  • Exploring alternative water management strategies
