The State of Nevada, Community Health Services has an opening in Pahrump for a Community Health Nurse 2 Registered Nurse interested in expanding their professional expertise and skills to rural and frontier Nevada.
This position is an integral part of the communities served and provides education and outreach to promote health, wellness, and disease prevention; public and population health activities; participation and coordination in Local Emergency Preparedness and Board of Health meetings; family planning and reproductive health services; and adult and childhood immunizations.
The ideal candidate will be able to function independently with excellent communication, critical thinking, organizational, and technical skills.
