[ARCHIVED] County and Towns Government Offices closed Friday in observance of Nevada Day

Nye County and all Towns government offices will be closed Friday, October 28, 2022 in observance of the Nevada Day holiday.  All emergency services will be still be available as needed.


The offices will reopen on Monday.


Early Voting will be available Friday and Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm in Pahrump at Bob Ruud Community Center, 150 N. Highway 160, and 10 am to 2 pm at the Clerk's Office in Tonopah, 101 Radar Road. Both locations are closed Sunday.


Nevada Day commemorates the state's entry into the Union as the 36th state on October 31, 1864. County namesake James W. Nye was the Territorial Governor during this time.
