[ARCHIVED] Property Tax payment system back online

The Treasurer's Office is pleased to announce the payment system is now back online


The system is taken offline annually when the Treasurer's Office calculates taxes and generates new bills for the current fiscal year. 

Bills will be mailed on or around this Friday, July 19th.


Per Nevada Revised Statutes 361.483; Tax Roll - July 2024 through June 2025

Taxpayers are granted an automatic 10-day grace period from the installment due date


  • 1st installment – Due August 19, 2024; Delinquent after August 29, 2024
  • 2nd installment – Due October 7, 2024; Delinquent after October 17, 2024
  • 3rd installment – Due January 6, 2025; Delinquent after January 16, 2025
  • 4th installment – Due March 3, 2025; Delinquent after March 13, 2025


Cash is accepted at the Treasurer's office locations in Tonopah and Pahrump only. If you're not paying in person, you may pay by the following methods:

  • Check
  • Money order
  • Cashiers check
  • VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo, debit card, and E-Check
  • Online Payments

*A 2.95% fee will be applied to all credit/debit card payments with a minimum charge of $2.00.

*A $1.50 fee will be applied for all E-check payments.


The county treasurer's office mails property tax bills annually. The County Assessor sets the assessed value, and the County Commissioners set the tax rates.
