[ARCHIVED] Honoring Memorial Day: County & Town Offices Closed on May 26, 2025

As we come together to observe Memorial Day, Nye County and its towns pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. In recognition of this important day, all County and Town government offices and courts will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025.

While administrative offices will be closed, emergency services remain vigilant. Though office operations will be on hold, field operations for emergency services will continue as normal to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Memorial Day is a time for reflection, gratitude, and remembrance. Whether you spend the day attending a local ceremony, gathering with loved ones, or simply taking a quiet moment to reflect, we encourage everyone to take time to honor the heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Thank you to all who serve, and may we never forget the cost of our freedom.  Enjoy a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
