Nye County is currently accepting applications for the position of Comptroller, also known as Finance Director. This executive-level role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the County’s financial operations, including strategic financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and fiscal policy.

💼 Position Overview

The Comptroller oversees a comprehensive program to manage and safeguard the County's financial assets. Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and reporting the County’s financial position
  • Directing financial records and reporting
  • Facilitating effective use of public tax dollars
  • Advising County management and the Board of Commissioners on financial matters
  • Ensuring compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes 251.170

💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $123,156.80 – $176,238.40 annually
