[ARCHIVED] Holiday Hope for Shelter Pets: $20 Adoptions at the Animal Shelter

Nye County Animal Shelter is excited to join BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters® – Holiday Hope event, starting today and running through December 15, 2025. During this nationwide initiative, adoption fees are reduced to just $20 for cats and dogs, making it easier than ever to welcome a new furry friend into your home this holiday season.

 How to Adopt:

  • View adoptable pets online: 24PetConnect.com (Zip code: 89060)
  • Visit us at: 1580 E Siri Lane, Pahrump, NV 89060
  • Hours: Monday–Saturday, 10 AM – 5 PM. Sunday by appointment (call 775‑751‑7020)

“We are thrilled to join BISSELL Pet Foundation again this December,” said Kristi Siegmund, Nye County Animal Shelter manager. “Every adoption is a second chance, and this event makes it possible for more families to open their hearts and homes to pets who need them most.”

All pets adopted through this event are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

BISSELL Pet Foundation has already helped more than 323,000 pets find loving homes through Empty the Shelters. Let’s make sure more animals get their second chance this December!

Spread the word and help us find forever homes for our furry friends!
