[ARCHIVED] County Announces New Year’s Holiday Closures

All County and town government offices, along with courts, will be closed on Thursday, January 1st, in observance of New Year's Day. 

Emergency service administrative offices will also be closed, though field operations will continue as usual. 

Regular County office hours will resume on Monday, January 5th, except for the Sheriff's Office administrative division, which will reopen on Friday, January 2nd. 

The County Animal Shelter will be closed for the holiday and will reopen on Friday for normal business hours, while Animal Control remains available during holidays and weekends at 775‑751‑6315. 

The County extends warm wishes to all residents for a safe and happy New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
