In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all County and town government offices, as well as the courts, will be closed on Monday, January 19. Emergency service administrative offices will also be closed; however, field operations will continue as normal to ensure uninterrupted public safety services.
Regular business hours for all offices will resume on Tuesday, January 20.
The County Animal Shelter will also be closed for the holiday. For urgent animal-related concerns, Animal Control remains available on holidays and weekends and can be reached at 775‑751‑6315.
Please also note that, due to the holiday, the County Commission meeting has been rescheduled and will take place on Wednesday, January 21 at 10 a.m.
