Work on a group of northern Nye road projects in Tonopah, Belmont and Round Mountain will begin on Monday, September 10.
The $457,000 in projects include re-surfacing of Belmont Road in the town for 1,500 linear feet, re-surfacing of Pablo Canyon Road in Round Mountain from State Route 376 to end of asphalt for 10,200 linear feet, and re-surfacing Valley View Road in Tonopah from McCulloch Avenue to Perchetti Flats for 1,056 linear feet.
Pahrump-based Wulfenstein Construction Co. was awarded the contract in August. The work is expected to take 2-to-3 weeks. The project is funded by the Regional Transportation Commission and from the county gas tax.
