[ARCHIVED] Pahrump Regional Planning Commission vacancy posted

There is one vacancy on the Pahrump Regional Planning Commission due to the resignation of Chairman Gregory T. Hafen II who was appointed to the state Legislature. This vacancy is for an unexpired term to term to end June 2019. Applicants must live within the Pahrump Regional Planning District.

The board meets on the second Wednesday of each month, but that date is subject to change.

The board also sits as the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee for the Pahrump Regional Planning District. 

Nye County Commissioners are requesting applications and completed questionnaires from persons interested in filling this vacancy. The questionnaires and applications may be obtained at the Pahrump Planning Office, 250 N. Highway 160, Suite 1, Pahrump, or by calling (775) 751-4245 or the Nye County Clerk. 

Please submit your application to the Nye County Clerk's Office, P.O. Box 1031, Tonopah, Nevada 89049 no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019.  Applications will not be accepted after that date. Nye County is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Provider. 

Hafen resigned his position on the commission at the December 12 meeting citing his appointment to the Nevada Assembly District 36 seat.
