UPDATED (May 5, 2020) County Government Offices and other operations will remain at their current levels until further notice. The Governor’s extension of the Stay At Home Order

UPDATED (April 3, 2020): County Government Offices and other operations will remain at their current levels until at least April 30th. This is inline with the Governor’s Stay At Home directive.

UPDATED (April 6, 2020): County Government Offices have notified the county administration that they have closed for an undetermined amount of time to public walk-ins but will maintain regular business hours to respond by email and phone, and process electronic filings. The courts have also issued Administrative Orders regarding operations. These steps are being taken out of an abundance of caution in the face of Coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns. The county has also established a Coronavirus (COVID-19) information page  with latest positive case count by town.

Nye County Public Works has announced that in order to support community efforts to mitigate the impact of COVID-19, NCPWU is suspending water service shutoffs, effective immediately, for delinquent payments in the Town of Manhattan and the Town of Gabbs service areas.
