There are Notices of Vacancy for advisory boards in Belmont, Gabbs Town, and Railroad Valley, as well as for the Central Nevada Museum Advisory Board, and the County Park and Recreation Advisory Board.

Nye County Commissioners are requesting a completed application from persons interested in filling any of these vacancies. See links to each notice below.

• Belmont Advisory Board for three vacancies 
• Gabbs Town Advisory Board for one vacancy
• Railroad Valley Advisory Board for two vacancies
• County Park and Recreation Advisory Board for five vacancies
• Central Nevada Museum Advisory Board for seven vacancies

All terms expire in January 2026. Applications are available online at https://nyecountynv.gov/DocumentCenter/View/12804/Nye-County-Board-Application-DOC or may be obtained at the Nye County Clerk’s Office, 101 Radar Road, Tonopah, or by calling (775) 482-7318. 

Please submit your applications to the Nye County Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 1031, Tonopah, Nevada 89049, no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024. No applications will be accepted after that date.

Upon review of the applications, a selection will be made at the very next available Board of Nye County Commissioners meeting.
