[ARCHIVED] Community Engagement Continues for Beatty Airport Master Plan

Beatty, NV—The Beatty Airport Master Plan Open House, held on May 7th, was a success, thanks to the valuable input from local residents, aviation professionals, and stakeholders. The event provided a platform for discussions on facility needs, forecasts, NEPA impact, and capital improvement plans, helping shape the long-term vision for the airport.

Community feedback remains a crucial part of this planning process. Those who were unable to attend still have an opportunity to share their thoughts through June 2nd. Comments can be submitted via email to the AtkinsRéalis Planning team at aviation.planning@atkinsrealis.com or through the online form.

Key materials from the open house, including the Master Plan Public Meeting Boards, Airport & Aviation Terminology Guide, and FAQ Sheet.

The Beatty Airport Master Plan will help guide future development, ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability while addressing community needs and FAA standards. Nye County encourages continued participation and looks forward to further input in the coming weeks.
