[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Hearing on May 19, 2014 on Nye County Bill No. 2014-16:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bill No. 2014-16 entitled: a Bill proposing to Amend Nye County Code Title 17 by Changing the Name of the Title to "Comprehensive Land Use Planning and Zoning," Repealing Bill No. 2013-31; and Adding Chapter 17.09 "Medical Marijuana Establishments," Establishing the Provisions Related to Zoning or Land use Restructions, Development Standards, and Imposing Requirements and Procedures for the Issuance of a Special Use Permit for all Areas in Nye County; and Providing for the Severability, Constitutionality and Effective Date thereof, and Other Matters Properly Relating Thereto, was proposed by the Board of County Commissioners at its April 22, 2014 meeting.

Pursuant to NRS 244.100.1, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Nye, State of Nevada, will hold a Public Hearing on Bill No. 2014-16 on Monday, the 19th day of May, 2014, at the time of 11:00 AM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Commissioners’ Chambers, 2100 E. Walt Williams Dr., located in Pahrump, Nevada, and 101 Radar Road, located in Tonopah, Nevada at which time any and all interested parties may appear and be heard.
A copy of the Bill is available for public review at the Nye County Clerk’s Office located at 101 Radar Road, Tonopah Nevada.
