[ARCHIVED] National Flood Insurance Program Workshop & Public Open House

This is to Notice the Public that FEMA, the State of Nevada Division of Water Resources and the Nye County Planning Department invite Insurance Agents and Realtors to attend a workshop on February 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. concerning the mapping changes of FEMA’s Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) for the Pahrump Valley. FEMA issued new FIRM maps effective December 2, 2015. This workshop will be open to the general public as well.

On February 23, 2017 at 4:00 p.m., plan to attend a Community Public Open House to learn more about the changes in the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) for the Pahrump Valley. FEMA issued new FIRM maps effective December 2, 2015. The changes to the maps will potentially add parcels into a Special Flood Hazards Area (SFHA) and remove others. Both the Workshop and the Open House will be held at the Board of County Commissioners' Chambers located at 2100 Walt Williams Dr., Pahrump, NV  89048
