[ARCHIVED] Notice of the Proposed Formation of a Hospital District in Nye County Nevada

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the BOARD OF NYE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS has fixed Friday, the 29th day of May, 2015, at the hour of 9:00 o'clock, a.m., in the Commissioners' meeting room of the Nye County Courthouse, 101 Radar Road, Tonopah, Nevada, as the time and place for a hearing on the matter of the formation of a County hospital district. The exterior boundaries of the territory proposed to be organized into a hospital district shall be the exterior boundaries of the unincorporated Town of Gabbs, unincorporated Town of Manhattan, unincorporated Town of Round Mountain, unincorporated Town of Tonopah, Tonopah Library, Smoky Valley Library, and the Northern Outside General District.

This Notice shall be published once a week for two successive weeks prior to the time fixed for the hearing in the following newspapers: Tonopah Times-Bonanza; Pahrump Valley Times.

At the time fixed for the hearing of the matter, or at any time prior thereto, any person interested may file with the Nye County Clerk, P. O. Box 1031, Courthouse, Tonopah, Nevada 89049, written objections to the formation of the district; and, further, at the time fixed for the hearing of the matter, anyone may appear and be heard.

At the time fixed for the hearing, or to which the hearing may be adjourned, the Board of Nye County Commissioners shall hear the objections filed, if any, and pass upon the same.

The BOARD OF NYE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS may, in its discretion, (1) sustain any or all of the objections filed, (2) may change or alter the boundaries of such proposed district to conform to the needs of the district, (3) exclude therefrom any land that will not be benefited by the formation of such a district, or (4) reject the proposition in its entirety.
