The National Weather Service has issued a 3-day outlook for the Pahrump Hot Air Balloon Festival (See attachments). Today is projected to be the windiest of the three days, with wind gusts increasing after 10 a.m. According to the Weather Service, Friday will have "Breezy conditions by late this morning will negatively impact hot air balloon activities. Cool and breezy conditions will make outdoor activities unpleasant."
Saturday and Sunday early morning winds are projected at between 2-to-5 mph.
