BEATTY - Nye County is inviting sealed bids for construction services to rehabilitate Beatty Airport Pavements.. The proposed work includes the crack seal, seal coat and stripe the airport pavements including Runway 16-34 (60’ x 5,614’), Taxiway B (35’ x 410’), and aircraft apron (240’ x 440’). Reconstruction of the norther half of the aircraft apron (200’ x 240’) includes removing the 2-inch asphalt pavement, 7-inches of subgrade, placing 6-inches of aggregate base, 3-inches of asphalt concrete, and striping.
There is a MANDATORY Pre-Bid meeting for this project scheduled for April 9, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Beatty Airport. Bids received from non-attendees will be considered as non-responsive.
Bids are due by and will be opened on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 11 a.m.
