State health officials have cleared the Beatty resident from self-isolation who tested positive for COVID-19. Nye County Emergency Management was notified on March 18th of the first positive test for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) within the county. The male, in his 60s, self-quarantined in his home. Investigators from the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Management were unable to identify his exact source of exposure.
There are no other reported positive tests in Nye County.
