NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR RESPONSE NO. 2025-11
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nye County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the County of Nye, State of Nevada, invites responses and will receive proposals (bids), to Install Concrete Slab for Two 12,000 Gallon AVGAS and Jet A Fuel Systems located at Tonopah Airport, Nye County, Nevada.
This project includes full mobilization and site preparation, construction of a concrete tank foundation and slab with protective bollards, and installation of electrical conduits for future tank wiring. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, testing, and quality control in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes. Work also includes site safety measures, utility protection, daily cleanup, and final site restoration upon completion. Please refer to the bid documents for complete details and requirements.
A mandatory pre-response meeting will be held Thursday, February 12th at 11:00 am at Tonopah Airport located at 1 Airport Rd., Tonopah, NV 89049.
All responses must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked Bid No. 2025-11/PWP-NY-2025-312: Install Concrete Slab for Two 12,000 Gallon AVGAS and Jet A Fuel Systems located at Tonopah Airport, Nye County, Nevada. No verbal, e-mailed, or facsimile transmitted responses will be accepted or considered. Responses will be accepted by the Nye County Finance Department, 101 Radar Rd./PO Box 3999, Tonopah, Nevada 89049, until 2:00 p.m. February 26, 2026. Bid opening will commence at 2:00 p.m. February 26, 2026, at the Nye County Finance Department, 101 Radar Rd., Tonopah, Nevada 89049.
This project is funded with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and is subject to federal labor Standards which includes Davis-Bacon wage rates and Section 3 requirements. Section 3 Business Concerns as well as minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to respond to this request. All contractors and sub-contractors must be registered and active in SAM.gov and have a Nevada Contractor’s License to be considered eligible for this federally funded project.
This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (“IIJA”), Pub. L. 177-58. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States, as further outlined by the Office of Management and Budget’s Memorandum M-22-11, Initial Implementation Guidance on Application of Buy America Preference in Federal Financial Assistance Programs for Infrastructure, April 18, 2022.
