Nye County Clerk’s Office has published the Notice of Offices on the Ballot for the Primary Election on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
The ballot will include:
- Partisan Offices: U.S. Representative (District 4), Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, State Controller, Attorney General, State Senate (District 17), and State Assembly (Districts 33, 36, 38).
- Non-Partisan Offices: Sheriff, Justice of the Supreme Court (Seats B & D), Fifth Judicial District Court Judge (Departments 1 & 2), Pahrump Justice of the Peace (Dept B), School Board Trustees, township boards, and improvement districts.
- County Offices: County Commissioner (Districts IV & V), Assessor, Clerk, District Attorney, Public Administrator, Recorder, Treasurer.
Key dates and requirements:
- Judicial Candidate Filing: Jan 5–16, 2026 (weekdays, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
- Non-Judicial Candidate Filing: Mar 2–13, 2026 (weekdays, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
- Withdrawal Deadlines: Jan 28, 2026 (judicial) & Mar 24, 2026 (non-judicial) by 5:00 p.m.
- Identification Required: Valid government-issued photo ID or acceptable proof of residence.
- Filing Fees: $105 for county offices, $35 for district offices, no fee for uncompensated positions.
